(More customer reviews)Picture the birdhouse you and your grandfather made in your garage when you were nine. I guarantee it did not look like anything in this book. These are not your average birdhouses! Each 'piece' is a unique interpretation. From the melting birdhouse (a la Dali) to the ceramic mosaic birdhouse there are some pretty incredible designs here! (my favorite is "darn woodpeckers" which is a 'traditional' birdhouse, riddled with holes, sitting in a pile of sawdust.)
The beautiful photographs and stylish layout make the book a work of art unto itself
I highly recommend this to anyone who a) is into birdhouses, b) is into unusual art or c) has a sense of humo
